eGifter Releases New Video Message Feature in time for Mother's Day
New York - (April 26, 2013) - eGifter, the social gifting company, today
released a new video feature. Users will now be able to personalize eGift cards
with video messages recorded with their computer or smart phone.
"There has traditionally been an objection to gift cards because they are less personal,"
said eGifter CEO Tyler Roye. "The video feature lets you customize an eGift card
and make it one of the most personal gifts you can give." The prevalence of embedded
cameras on laptops and smart phones makes the video feature accessible for most
users.
From singing "Happy Birthday" to recording a memorable Mother’s Day message, the
video feature will let users customize their electronic cards for different occasions.
With eGifter’s group gifting capabilities, users can also add multiple videos to
a single eGift card. Each person who contributes to the eGift card will be able
to include his or her own video from anywhere in the world.
The video feature is currently available at eGifter.com and in the eGifter Platform,
a hosted solution which enables retailers to add social gifting, group gifting,
and mobile delivery of eGift cards to their own web sites, fan pages and mobile
apps. Video greetings will soon be available on the eGifter iOS and Android apps.
An upcoming release of this multimedia feature will let users upload photos for
their eCards and attach images from their Facebook photo albums.
